The Nervous System and Manifestation, the perfect match

Let's talk about the nervous system for a minute.

The nervous system is comprised of the central and peripheral nervous systems, and are a bundle of nerves and cells in the body.

You can use this image below for reference, an intricate highway of nerve endings.

I love this close up of a leaf because it shows how inextricably linked we are to nature.

These nerve endings transmit signals between different parts of the body.

These signals help us act out autonomic and desired functionings.

So for example smiling. The nervous system is responsible for transmitting those signals from the brain to the muscles that make smiling possible.

It also is responsible for our ability to sense touch and respond accordingly. Like when we are touching a hot stove, and pull away.

It aids you in your ability to read and digest the information on this page.

Our systems allow us to do so many daily things, and is responsible for almost every single thing we do. Whether we are aware of the actions or not.

Its innate capacity to regulate bodily functions reflects a remarkable commitment to our well-being. Where it can get tricky is when long term stress and trauma come in.

Now you may be thinking, when am I going to bring in the manifestation part?

Here's the thing.

Understanding how our system functions is so important.

It is the foundation for creating any sort of change in our lives.

If you ever make a connection to nervous system health and living a life you truly enjoy and feel great in - it takes building your level of self-awareness to make long withstanding change.

And change, is just another grand term for manifestation babes.

Because who ever manifests for things to stay the exact same, nothing different at all - in their lives?


I think our current society has gotten really on board with the whole 'self care' and 'go to therapy, pilates, have an adaptogenic latte before writing in your journal for the day' kind of positivity.

Where I think there's an opportunity for growth is in understanding our bodies more on a deep cellular level.

Getting back to basics before adding all the frills.

And that comes with, increasing awareness.

A body in chronic dysregulation cannot respond to positive stimuli at the conscious level.

Now that is helpful information, so I'll say that a different way.

If you're struggling to sleep well every night, living paycheck to paycheck, are anxious about what your future holds, wondering when your circumstance is going to change - a sticky note that say's ‘Everything Will Work Out In My Favor’ is not going to soothe you.

One glance may even shift your body further into overdrive and dysregulation.

Our bodies and brains aren't able to respond to change in survival mode. Because, well, we're trying to focus at the level of survival.

And change, progress, opportunity, manifestation etc. that's not an option for a system operating under survival.

That’s why I care so deeply on supporting others to learn more about their brain and bodies because that understanding is the gold.

From a biological perspective, our physical bodies and physiological status are the mechanisms that help us live out life.

All the fun stuff. Meditation. Cold plunges. Magical mushrooms. Those are tools to assist your mechanism to regain balance.

And balance is where manifestation comes into play.

If you understand the mechanism before you get the tools, it is way more effective and better suited to modify them as your life circumstances change.

And for you to have autonomy in your health journey for the long haul.

And for you to be able to invest in lasting change aka manifest what your truest form desires.
