I’m not perfect. I’m working towards a more joy centered life just as much as anybody.
I fell hard for the planet when I was young, and as an adult embarked in a career and super rigid lifestyle to protect her.
Simultaneously, at an early age I had a traumatic brain injury that altered all the parts of me and the world I lived in. From then on, I became passionate about combining a healthy lifestyle with a sustainable one - minus the relenting overwhelm that seemed to follow me.
Because what better way to put pressure on your shoulders than grasping onto the identify of ‘having to save the world’?
I grew up in the outdoors. Calling some of the most beautiful places on Earth my backyard. Lake Powell. The Grand Canyon. Crater Lake. Death Valley. And now, Hawai’i.
In my journey to prioritize my health I got into nervous system health and functional medicine as a means to heal.
And became an integrative health practitioner.
I really feel connection to this Earth through connecting with myself.
I enjoy creating spaces where anyone can feel that connection in their own way too.
That’s a joy centered life to me.
There’s this beautiful link in valuing yourself as a way to automatically value others. And in that, we trade burnout and hustle culture for connection and purpose.
For living. For thriving.
